Join us in the inaugural Maddog Memorial Wheelchair Rugby Tournament that honours the late Hal Merrill. Hal, A pioneer in parasports both in New Brunswick and in Canada, this tournament is a place to celebrate his legacy by bringing athletes and teams together for some fun competition.

This is the first inaugural Maddog Memorial Tournament. This tournament is in honour of the late Hal Merrill, a three-time Paralympian, a trailblazer in parasport, and an amazing mentor to so many in the disability community. Hal was a pioneer for wheelchair rugby in Atlantic Canada and was the best teammate, a fierce competitor, coach, and compassionate friend to everybody who played or volunteered. His legacy will live on not just in this competition, but in the lives he changed, the barriers he broke, and the inspiration he provided.
