Job Description: Recruitment CoordinatorÂ
Position Title: Recruitment CoordinatorÂ
Hours of Work: Flexible work schedule based on 20-30 hours per week. Evening and weekend work is also required as necessary.Â
Location: New Brunswick, remote. Office space can be available at Sport New Brunswick in Fredericton. Travel will be required. Â
Employment Terms: 6 month contract

Position Summary:Â The Recruitment Coordinator role is to provide peer to peer support to people with acquired and congenital disabilities and to introduce them to parasport opportunities. This will include site visits at the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, running have a go days in communities, and reaching out to schools to identify students living with disabilities and offering support to introduce them to parasport opportunities.
Primary tasks:
Rehabilitation Center
Peer-to-peer supportÂ
Coordinate and meet with physiotherapists, recreation therapists and occupational therapists at the Stan Cassidy
Work with SCI outpatients program
Meet with inpatients and parents/families Â
Work with schools to find students with disabilitiesÂ
Have a Go Days:
Coordinate and host 4 Have-A-Go days in targeted areasÂ
Support Atlantic Development Camp logisticsÂ
Identify and provide all support and tools to remove barriers to participation
Creating social media posts
Maintaining equipment to ensure positive first experienceÂ
Administration:
Track all dates, locations and participants at Have-A-Go days
Track all participants who participated in a Have-A-Go day and joined their local program
Take photos and share stories on website and other media platforms
Collect Testimonials
Support logistics for Maddog Memorial Tournament
Work with Executive Director on budget
Other tasks assigned by the Executive Director
Minimum qualifications:
Lived experience or related lived experience
Parasport or related experienceÂ
Drivers licenseÂ
Asset Qualifications:
Degree in Kinesiology
3+ years of parasport program experience or working with people with a disability
Bilingual
Salary Range: $20/hr, 20-30 hrs/week
