The role of this position is to support the program manager in the delivery of introduction parasport programs throughout the province of New Brunswick. Key area responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver Parasport Roadshow; host Have a Go days; Coordinate summer parasport programs (para cycling, wheelchair tennis, boccia, wheelchair basketball and more). Other roles include: Create and share social media content for event promotions and successes; Collaborate with partners such as municipalities, provincial sport organizations, clubs, disability organizations and the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation for targeted recruitment. Bilingualism is an asset - Self motivated with excellent organizational skills - Knowledge of wheelchair/adaptive sports would be an asset - Ability to work evenings and weekends - Valid Drivers licence Application deadline is March 31, 2024. Fredericton, New Brunswick - November 8th 2023 - Parasport New Brunswick is thrilled to announce the participation of a record number of para athletes from New Brunswick competing in the upcoming Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Five athletes, who have overcome numerous challenges and adversities, have earned a spot to represent their province and their country on the international stage as a member of Team Canada.
